What Do You Hear?

Here is a fun song to do with your child that will give them practice identifying the sound heard at the beginning, middle, or end of a word.

(to the tune of "London Bridge is Falling Down")

What's the first sound that you hear,
That you hear, that you hear?
What's the first sound that you hear
in dog, dog, dog?

Change first to end or middle once they have the hang of it, which most of them do! We are practicing end sounds right now and have not been concentrating on middle sounds yet but many can do it.
